Light House of Hope Safe Spot Inc. is a faith-based, nonprofit 501c3 organization committed to caring for one of our most vulnerable populations- the unhoused. They are among those most at risk for developing hygiene-related illnesses due to lack of shower access and hygiene supplies. Many unhoused people can go days, weeks, and even months without a shower; At LHOH, we believe everyone deserves to feel the basic comfort and dignity of cleanliness.
Light House of Hope Safe Spot (LHOH) the organization understands that being unhoused is not only a lack of housing, but also a lack of basic necessities such as food, hygiene, and healthcare. LHOH is committed to addressing these needs and providing the unhoused population with the resources they need to improve their situation.
LHOH is proud to add the Hope on the Move Parenting Initiative where we are committed to provide a lifeline to our HIV and High Risk women who are re-entering care after delivery, ensuring they have the resources and support they need to thrive during this critical time. The journey of mom doesn't end with childbirth, in many ways it begins anew. We recognize the unique challenges and want to offer support to meet their needs and empower their futures.
To care for our most vulnerable populations by removing barriers, providing essential support, and restoring hope and dignity to unhoused individuals and families with young children.
To meet unhoused individuals and families where they are by providing access to essential daily needs and walking alongside them as they remove barriers and overcome obstacles on their path to stability and hope.
To be a beacon of hope by partnering with organizations and communities to end systemic homelessness, remove barriers for families, and ensure that every individual especially mothers and children has access to stable housing, essential support, and a safe place to call home, so no one is left without shelter or hope.
